Location: South Region (Coaldale)
Description:
The Production worker is responsible for watering and maintenance of the plants being grown in the greenhouse and on the grounds. This position reports to the Greenhouse Grower. The Production Worker is part of the production team that is responsible for the growing of the greenhouse crops, outdoor garden and grounds. Responsibilities include: Watering plant material and all other tasks as per greenhouse grower request
Skills Required:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Equivalent of High School education from a recognized institution (or currently enrolled in High School)
- Proficient command/comprehension of the English language
- Police Information Check that does not disqualify you from employment
- Emergency First Aid & CPR
Additional Requirements:
- Comfortable working at heights: including using ladders
- Ability to work in hot and humid conditions for extended periods
- Strong customer service skills and experience handling cash transactions
- Willingness to work around scented plants and other allergens
- Knowledge of or interest in the care and maintenance of bedding plants
- Capable of lifting heavy items
- Ability to work long hours on your feet in a physically demanding environment
