Main Purpose
The Camp Administrative and Maintenance Assistant supports the daily operations of Camp Rehoboth by managing office tasks, guest communications, camper and volunteer communications, and sorting files. This role ensures smooth coordination between staff, volunteers, and visiting groups while upholding the camp’s values of hospitality, safety, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of all camp buildings, including cabins, bathrooms, Dining hall, tuck shed, game shed, and chapel.
- Restock supplies in all buildings at camp, such as cabins, bathrooms, and the mess hall. (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, sanitizer).
- Conduct daily maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial tasks across all buildings, pathways, and grounds to maintain a clean, attractive, and hazard-free environment.
- Assist in the planning and execution of minor construction projects, including repairs, renovations, and installations of camp infrastructure and amenities.
- Participate in seasonal setup and takedown tasks, including preparing cabins, equipment, and grounds for camp opening and closing.
- Perform daily and monthly inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Operate and maintain landscaping and maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, power tools, and utility vehicles. Assist with bookings, registration, and payment processing for rentals and summer camp programs.
- Manage filing systems (digital and paper).
- Support volunteer recruitment and screening.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Assist with organized digital and paper records of bookings, waivers, rental agreements, and safety forms.
- Assist with inventory tracking and ordering supplies for summer camps, kitchen, and rentals.
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide check-in orientation and check out guests, or assistance as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Assist with maintenance work.
- Uphold and promote the values, mission, and policies of Camp Rehoboth in all aspects of the role
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in High School OR High School Diploma, and currently enrolled in a college/University program with the intention to return to studies in the fall
- Rehoboth Christian Ministries trainings
- Experience in office administration, customer service, or clerical role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safe cleaning procedures and handling of chemicals
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
Skills & Experience:
- Emergency First Aid and CPR
- Valid Class 5 license
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills; courteous and respectful with staff, clients, and visitors

- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
